Goodrich School, Kileleshwa
A Legacy of Nurturing Excellence
Founded in 2008 by the visionary late Gedion Kyalo Kimulu, Goodrich School Kileleshwa began as a humble daycare under the name "Like Mothers." Inspired by parents and driven by his passion for early childhood development, Mr. Kyalo expanded this initiative, transforming it into Goodrich Kindergarten in 2010. From those early days, Goodrich Kileleshwa has been committed to delivering a structured, high-quality early learning experience that lays the foundation for lifelong success.
Over the years, Goodrich Kileleshwa has blossomed into a prestigious institution known for fostering the unique talents of each child in a nurturing, holistic environment. We are dedicated to the all-around development of our students—spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. At Goodrich, we understand that every child learns at their own pace, and our mission is to spark a love for learning while cultivating their individual strengths and potential.
Our experienced and compassionate teachers are the cornerstone of our approach. They ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed. Beyond academics, we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities designed to nurture children’s diverse passions, including swimming, music, ballet, soccer, skating, dancing, and physical education. These programs allow students to explore new interests and refine their talents, fostering well-rounded development.
In 2018, we expanded our offering by introducing the primary section, starting with Grade 1. This milestone marked the beginning of a new chapter for Goodrich Kileleshwa. Despite the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and the profound loss of our founder, the school remained resilient. Under the dynamic leadership of Madam Karen Kyalo, who took charge in 2021, we have continued to thrive and adapt, staying true to our commitment to educational excellence.
Today, Goodrich Kileleshwa stands as a beacon of holistic education in Kenya. We are proud to be a place where every child is nurtured not only to excel academically but also to grow into confident, compassionate, and resilient individuals, ready to make a positive impact on the world. At Goodrich, we believe in shaping future leaders, one child at a time.
